Beautiful Property, Adequate Care

The building and facility are beautiful, well maintained and feels like a 5 star hotel. I give it a 4 because the staff and leadership, while good, is not at the highest level. Feels like they are doing their job, but its a JOB, not a passion. Can't blame them for that, but it's more sterile and functional than some other senior living facilities, not as much passion around caring for seniors as we saw in some places. But the services are good, meals seem to be great, and they keep the residents active so they're c

Overall, lovely – would definitely recommend

The director [name removed] has been wonderful working with us – extremely personable and getting things done in a hurry when we needed it. I love the atmosphere of the whole place – light, clean, pleasant – and the memory care staff was fantastic – attentive and friendly and kind. We had a few issues in assisted living – temporarily missing laundry, mixed-up meds, and once Mom was sent to the ER by ambulance, but no one knew which hospital she went to (they finally figured it out, but it was a bad hour or two). we found a great place for our Mother

The overall experience with Prestonwood Court has been great; it took a while for her to engage with others after the loss of her husband but now she's more involved in being out with others in the activity room.

The facility is kept clean. The front office staff is great. The care staff are average. Moving in and getting accommodations for my dad's situation was easy. The food quality is good, but meal size is small. The menu is rotated and choice is average. I would recommend, but it is pricey compared to others.
