I am going to base my rating on the cost as well. This is not a top-of-the-line facility. However, it fit the limited financial situation of my brother. Maybe things are better now... they lost excellent staff and everything went downhill. Check to see if they hired a good activities director... that helps a lot with morale! I moved my mother to nursing home about 5 months ago so haven't been over there since April.

We went to our first visit just to have something to compare with facilities closer to me, but the staff was so warm and inviting. The residents were gathering downstairs for bingo and they were also invited pleasant. It felt like family. The place is small enough that everyone seems to know everyone. My brother loved the food and there must be plenty of it because he doesn’t eat the snacks I bring anymore. Found out about Regency Park and moved my mom in about two months ago. The staff members are warm and professional. Mom enjoys the activities, the food, but most of all - her new friends! Mom is so happy here and I’m relieved she is in a safe and caring place to live out her days! We love Regency Park!
