PositiveSabine Place
This facility is on the tier system I think they call it for increasing levels of care, but they will not manually feed residents and some other basic needs - hospice is needed in order to have more hands on help. At that time, more family involvement will be needed. Just a heads up going in would be helpful. In other words, they will accept a resident that is more than minimal assist, but will never be responsible for total care of the resident once they require it.

I like the facility is small. It has a homey and comfortable feel. Everyone from the Director to the aides are attentive and caring for the residents. The food is good too! Lots of activities for the residents also.

I have a parent here and I am so glad I chose Sabine Place. It is on the smaller side which is what I was looking for. All the residents know each other. The Executive Director, [name removed] is always willing to help if and when needed. The Activities Director has activities planned throughout each day for the residents. The staff are all so friendly and attentive to the needs of the residents. The food is always good, and the facility is always clean. I'm happy my mom is here.

Facility and staff is really nice. My only feedback negative is communication is last minute and hard to get a hold of anyone. It's hard to wait to get in the facility and leave because theres never many staff there at a time to let you in and out. Other than that it's been a great experience and great care

PositiveStaff is nice but have found it hard to reach someone at times when needed.
My sister is whom I have in the facility. The staff is nice and most seem to want to help her when she needs it. She seems to have problems with her TV quite often. It's an operator problem not the TV. Knowing now what I know I think I would have done more research. There are people on all levels of their cognitive skill abilities there. Even though my sister is having some issues, she is college educated and still can carry on a good conversation. She is having a hard time finding someone she feels she can fit in …
