Staff were helpful when questioned. Care appeared appropriate. Staff needed to be more helpful on encouraging residents to participate in activities. I rarely saw my mother participating. The food was less appealing in the memory care side than what was served in the main dining room. The facility appeared clean routinely. Overall the place is ok. They are always out of something especially food items - yogurt, coffee, oatmeal, orange juice, and placemats, napkins, toilet paper, paper towels and soap in public restrooms. The new owners did not take care of transferring title to the bus so we were without promised transportation for over a month. Communication to residents is spotty at best. A bunch of cranky seniors who are confused already do not do well when anything is not as expected.

It's always clean. New management has upgraded the food (no more corn dogs and fries for dinner). My favorite part is still the large courtyard where they can walk in complete safety. The only negative is it use to feel like a family but the new owners have made it feel more like a business... But it is getting better. Since new management took over in Sept, it has been very rocky going. Wifi here is unreliable at best. The activity directors are friendly and enthusiastic. Always trying to find ways to get people involved. There has been a high turnover in the kitchen staff. It seems there is no leadership and no organization. They are often out of what I consider staples, salad dressings, bread, fruit, coffee, creamers, and they have run out of entrees before everyone is served.
