PositiveThis place is beautiful and offers a lively and healthy senior citizen like myself an abundance of activities and services within a beautiful setting. Inside quad is so pretty and one can envision oneself sitting out there relaxing, reading or just enjoying the surroundings. Clean, large apartments, happy staff. I would seriously consider this place if it weren’t so far out in the boo is and so far from both my children.

We recently moved my mother in to Santianna and it's been a real blessing. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. [names removed] worked with us a lot to get great room with a great view. The food is delicious. Special call outs to the maintenance guys, [name removed] and [name removed], for helping my mom so much with her TV and all the other little things.

The community is a good mix of people. Food choices and service issues need to be addressed, specifically hiring, training of staff and meeting dietary requirements as in gluten free options.

CriticalMemory Care needs improvement
Independent and assisted living is entirely different from memory care--here and elsewhere. In memory care, my experience is that individual attention and consistency of care is not as good as in a well managed group home. Some care staff were outstanding; attentive, caring, and communicative with family. The administration was in disarray the entire time my mom was living at Santianna. It is now under new ownership and new management, so I am not aware of how things are now.
