PositiveMy grandma has been a resident for a long time now, and she likes it here. [name removed], the activities manager is so sweet and friendly, she always has great energy and enthusiasm and always has something fun for everyone to do. So many of these places don't do anything with their residents and that's how they decline, these people need activity to stay sharp and stay with it, otherwise they just go downhill. That's one of the things we noticed when we toured. The executive director [name removed] kept talking a…

PositiveI have been in Volusia county my entire life, and so when my father needed assised living care we (my brother and I) wanted dad close by so we could keep keep an eye on him and be aware of his condition. We tried another assisted living in New Smyrna (I won't name names) but it was not a good experience at all, so depressing every time we walked in everyone was just sitting around, nobody talking or interacting, it was just sad. We moved to Seashore to get a change of pace, and we loved the energy that the Executiv…

PositiveWe had to put our mother in the memory care part of the building, and they have taken good care of her. She likes the food and they do lots of activities with the residents, I always see them doing different activities. It has been a good experience so far
★★★★★
PositiveExcellent staff and a nice building. We wanted something close to us in New Smyrna so that we could visit regularly, and decided on Seashore Senior living. The building is very nice, the lights and floors and all the decorations make a nice environment. There were a couple of times that the front desk lady seemed to be in a bad mood, but overall the staff is very nice too.
★★★★★
PositiveThe location is great, and overall has been a positive experience. We chose Seashore because we liked that it was smaller, and the price was competitive. Plus the great location. But the building maintenance could use some improvement.

PositiveWe toured five different places before deciding to put our father at Seashore. The community felt warm and the people there were all so kind. We've been very happy with our decision, and dad has done well lhere. It's sad to see him not be able to do some of the things he has been able to do in the past, but he has always been encouraged to do what we can, they don't do everything for him, which is a good thing in my opinion.
