I don't have a lot of experience with care facilities , but I would give sequoia springs 5 stars. The staff is very friendly, they seem calm and capable. The facility is very clean and well decorated. They make an obvious attempt to make it feel like home. My mom's memory care room is a double room, but she has her own bed space, which is big enough to hold a dresser and a table and has its own closet. The shared space in the double room can hold a couple of nice upholstered chairs and a desk or tv stand. And the…

Basically I love the area; the weather; the numerous resources in the area and the residents. At 78. I am the baby of the group so there are not a lot who are very physically active. Residents indicate that maintenence has been an issue with a change of ownership about a year ago. The biggest issues have to do with lack of regular inspections of filter, heating systems etc. A couple of the residents ended up with pneumonia and at least one of them was related to rats or mice getting into the attics and chewing on i…

PositiveGreat staff, beautiful facility, 10/10
Really nice, friendly staff, super clean, REALLY nice looking grounds, in a nice neighborhood, seems like a fairly low cost facility for how nice it is. I think they really want it to feel like home. The memory care rooms are a double suite with each person getting their own bedroom space with enough room for extra furniture. I can't speak to the food or dining, but I know they pay attention to dietary needs. All around, it feels like a great place.

I came in on a weekend and initially I was a bit frustrated by lack of someone to really walk me through the cottage and show me how things worked. There was only a very cursory walk through. Since then I have received more paperwork detailing what I needed to know. There is a Cottage Council which helps coordinate between the cottage residents and management. We have been given access to one of the vacant cottages as a clubhouse so we are planning activities to bring the cottage folks together as a community. Appa…

I chose this facility because of the independent living facility. Individual cottages and pet friendly. I haven't used any of the main building services, other than meal delivery. Pricing for the cottages is competitive. The grounds are attractive and well maintained.
