My mother-in-law is in her second year of living at Shell Harbor, and my husband & I visit her almost every day. WOW - it truly is worry-free luxury living! Everything is clean and well-maintained, the food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly & helpful! You can truly live "independently" here in your own apt., or, if/when additional "help" is needed there are many services available! PositiveShell Harbor is truly the place to be! The location is gorgeous and decorated beautifully! There are always so many events and activities happening that there is never a dull day here. There is even a movie theater & a billiards room. Plus 3 meals a day included, a bus service & a personal washer & dryer in the apartments! Very friendly and helpful staff. Residents are all welcoming and watch out for each other. Great food and plenty of diverse activities. Something for everyone. Great response and aid from the staff should a resident have an issue.

Poor experience overall.....food a huge problem......can't keep managers.....poor quality for the cost. Moved out of there last year when they raised the cost and we weren't getting what we were paying for anyway. I do not recommend this place.

The staff is very friendly, caring, and accommodating. The activities director, [name removed], is exceptional. It is well maintained and very clean. The apartments are a nice size and the largest in the area. My mother is pretty active and has met many new friends. The size of the Shell Harbor is perfect. Not too large and not too small.
