Friendly staff made tough situation a good experience....

Staff was amazing on initial meetings and answered all questions, even ones I hadn't thought of, move in was easy & staff was on hand to assist & answer questions. Transition for mom has been good, many activities for her to be involved in. Staff is so wonderful & friendly. It feels very homey. Cleanliness of mom's room is good. Staff is super responsive to requests. Only thing is would change is their new name tags to not say memory care as it is triggering to mom.... she doesn't like "memory care" ....

Overall a very nice community and excellent staff

I believe the quality of his care is very good. The problem we have in this case facility is when he needs medical attention transportation is only available by setting up an appointment. I.e. dental or medical. He's a Walker and when he falls down and gets hurt, they call 911 for an ambulance to transport him to the hospital which is not included in the monthly fees. They say they provide hospice services but if anything medical is involved they can't provide that. The staff really have been very helpful and seem

It's very clean. The food is great. They are really good about extra snacks and availability to food and drinks in between mealtime. They keep their days filled with activities and very rarely do they just "sit there."

Stay involved and enjoy greater satisfaction with your choices

Weekends lack good activities, I was always hesitant to speak up but when I finally did the admin were appreciative of my input and immediately looked into it to make positive changes. Any environmental concerns, if any, were immediately corrected....I wish more staff had interacted personally with mom. Several did and I appreciated them greatly! I filled out a many page information packet about mom, had a labeled photo album of family and a personal book all about mom....seems like that packet from the facility w

Review for Ciel of Spokane

The way the facility is set up is very nice and convenient, they had good references, and had a very good tour, apartments were clean and fairly new. Price was a little high, but my mother was very comfortable there.

Excellent Dementia Care

I would rate all a five. Very clean with caring attendants, lots of activities and family events. I don't think we could have done any better based on what others we looked at. It started as Fieldstone then changed to Columbia Landing and as of the 1st of this year was sold to Ciel. They immediately raised the monthly rent from [fee removed] to [fee removed] which I thought was somewhat excessive but maybe that's what they can do and still be competitive. Not fair but oh well.
