Wonderful, tiered care

My mom has been a resident in Independent Living for 4 years and has been very happy there. It was so convenient to bring her back to the same campus that has three tiers of care. The nurses and physical therapists were so kind to my mom. I visited her almost every day and, without fail, the facility was clean, my mom was well groomed and well fed, and I felt comfortable knowing she was s

Overall a great place and I would recommend it to others

Make sure that your loved one is placed on a unit that they can get the most care. My sister was placed in assisted living but she required more care than they were able to provide. They then sent her to the hospital and did not want her to return. I found that a little disturbing as they do have a skilled nursing unit at the facility. But overall it is a nice place and I would recommend it.

My Dad was reluctant at first, but, he told us he should have come to St. Dominic’s Village 10 years ago. He has everything he needs and this time in his life, safety, community and most of all spiritual. Thank you Josh “A Place for Mom”” for taking the time to get to know our family and finding the right place for us and especially my Dad.

Critical

Dangerous SNF

My father entered St. Dominic’s Village’s skilled nursing unit in early May 2022 after being hospitalized for several injuries. He was admitted using Medicare and we were considered Medicaid pending once coverage was exhausted. It was explained to me by [name removed], the billing director, that we needed to submit a Medicaid application on his behalf and once approved, the coverage would apply retrograde up to three months’ time. [name removed] advised that I make her the power of attorney of my father and apply o
