Memory care for a senior who didn't think he needed any assistance

Staff have been friendly and helpful, efforts are made to assign same staff to residents on a recurring basis, my Dad is in memory care there, he did not think he needed memory care (or any assistance really) and the layout and appearance do not feel like a locked space; the entire top floor is memory care and codes are entered on the elevator versus having to walk through double metal doors which most of the places I toured have and which would have been off-putting to him; the apartments look like apartments ver…

Sunrise Plano Review:

Sunrise Plano Review: My mother moved into Sunrise near the end of October 2025. Almost immediately she felt right at home and absolutely loves the facility, as well as everyone she has met. I would say that my experience with sunrise has been ok so far. Lets see if it improves going forward. I would recommend sunrise but there's definitely sticker shock with this place

Review for Sunrise of Plano

I will tell you this the food is horrible. The car service is horrible. My dad's apartment is wonderful. The people are wonderful the place in in disarray, but they are trying to fix it up.

The tenured staff, extraordinary care and amazing food makes Sunrise of Plano the best place for senior living. Sunrise of Plano experience

5 on all of them. My mother loves how friendly everyone is, she is doing incredibly well there after losing her husband of 69 years. She also loves the food.
