Sun Terrace Prosser

I was looking for a place closer to me for my Dad to live in. He's 3.5 hours away now. Sun Terrace is only 30 min. When I took my tour, you could tell there was nothing to hide. I spoke with a couple of the residents and they both said they really enjoyed being there. In fact, I was encouraged to walk around freely by myself and take pictures to show my Dad. All that being said, we started the process yesterday to get him into Sun Terrace.

Treated like family

My mom is no longer at Sun Terrace. She passed away on [date removed]. She received very good care while she was there. I actually recommended them to a friend and her mother in law is a resident now. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. They seem to really care about the residents. Mom was in a studio room. It was just the right size for her since she couldn't walk on her own. The staff always kept it nice and clean. Honestly I would rate all of these at a 5. The staff is so helpful and very friendly. They really seem to care. Yes, we would recommend Sun Terrace Prosser to other families based on the experience so far.

My mom says she is happy and they care. She loves the food. My sister is close and very involved. She does laundry due to missing items. We visited and felt her bathroom could have been cleaned. Her apartment is very small.

Good Place Overall

My main objection is that the only view overlooks a busy and noisy road. Mom has good hearing, so she chose a quiet room but the only view is the tiny courtyard and other apartments. I think she'd be completely happy there if she could see trees or hills or something lovely. The facility is old and a little shabby, which put me off at first. However, Mom is at a stage where she cares most about quiet, feeling safe and cared for, and being treated with respect, and Sun Terrace is very much meeting those needs. The c…

Great place

I’ve a few past residents and a few current residents and have said the same thing great atmosphere and friendly caring staff and love it there. The place is always clean and presentable plenty of things to do to occupy your time. Plenty of parking space and a very safe environment to live in.
