CriticalThe staff working with my mother was caring however they did not seem to have the experience of communicating with family members the concerns with my mother. Food was great. Cost was great. Facility was new and always clean. My mother didn't get her medication as needed. She had a stroke which made me aware that she was not taking the blood thinners. I have medical questions that still have not been resolved. She is living at an older facility in Monroe which has a very antique facility but the care for her is phy…

CriticalThe facility is very clean and well kept and the front desk and nurses / care givers are very kind. However, we often felt like we were being dismissed when we had questions or concerns. He often became agitated so he was heavily medicated and slept a lot which was concerning since he did not eat or drink properly due to this. We…

PositiveMy father has been at Sunflower Springs Lake Wylie since they opened a little over a year ago. Its a new clean facility with good lighting and bright colors. I think this along with numerous scheduled activities makes a big difference in keeping the residents spirits high. I always see the management team jumping in and helping out with all facets of the daily work load. This is my Dads third facility in 4 years and by far the best. PositiveI would recommend them. The staff is good but they just don't have enough people.

CriticalMy family member struggles with lack of consistency in timing of her showers. Food is pretty good but there is no variety with the breakfasts. Need more variety also in the activities and need a bigger van. Activities are pretty much the same every month. Wish there were more groups coming to entertain at the home. If we had more money we would consider changing facilities. Sometimes admin staff does not respond to emails which can be frustrating.
