Sunrise of Metairie

The lady that set up the interview of this property did not show up, ([name removed]). We were give a excellent tour by custodian [name removed], no info on pricing, very unprofessional of the Lady, [name removed], would not have her promoting any businesses.

The facility was very nice. A little pricier than others. In my opinion the sales person was just too much of a sales person for the type of product they are selling. He also talked bad about other facilities which I take as a complete turnoff. If you can only sell your product by putting others down then I don’t want your product.

Our experience

What we like the most about the community is the location, the activities as well as the in house therapy. Yes, we would recommend Sunrise of Metairie to other families based on the experience so far.

friendly staff

I find the facility very friendly and especially the other families I see there. That tells me they are happy too that their loved ones are there.

I work for a psych hospital and I did an in-service with the staff of the facility starting with the administrator on down to the marketing department and the people there were so nice. The facility was clean. It looked like [name removed] had his staff well groomed. The chef there was cooking at the time I was there and the food was excellent. Toured the facility with [name removed], and he explained in detail the care, programs, and amenities available to its residents. The level of knowledge and compassion shown for the residents was completely perfect. The true value is not just in the services offered, but in the sense of belonging and quality of life that many seniors find there.
