PositiveBeautiful facility, pros and con
Overall, beautiful facility, spacious apartments, and great food (according to mom). Initially, the staff was very accommodating, friendly and prompt with help. After Talamore was sold, front desk support was less available, activity schedules seemed thin and more frequently canceled, response time to pulls on the emergency cord was longer than EMTs.

The facility is beautiful and well kept. The food is fresh, menu varies, expensive if you aren't on the meal plan. Many staff members are absolutely wonderful...some aren't...like anyplace. The level of physical assist they advertise providing isn't actually what they provide...which was an unfortunate heartbreaking situation. All 5s. We were very satisfied. she passed and is no longer there but what that's the part that matters. She was there such a short time and they helped facilitate all of the hospital runs & emergent care there. Only thing that they could work on better is communicating, it was hard at times to get a hold of someone in order to connect with her. Staff and activities were very good. There was something going on almost all the time and staff worked to get residents involved. They were always happy to have family there and let us get involved too. Food wasn't the greatest. It was like most institutional food.
