My husband received great care!

My husband came to Tenenbaum Villa at the the recommendation of Carlsbad By the Sea Nursing and Rehabilitation. The staff at Tenenbaum Villa are the most generous and kind people and my husband was treated like family. They are highly supportive and caring. I actually stayed there with my husband and saw the great care that he was given. He was in the final stages of Parkinson's and was there about one year. If you are looking for excellent care in a lovely licensed home this is the place to be!

Terrible experience. Not skilled at providing proper memory care.

We had a terrible experience at Tenenbaum Villa. The staff was very unprofessional and unskilled in handling memory care guidelines and regulations. Would not recommend.

Would not recommend for anyone who has dementia

I would want others to know that they have parties at the house. They take the closet of a person with dementia and occupy it with the owners clothes. There is only one person who is on site to care for the residents and she is often not even there. My mother was wearing the same clothes and her hair was knotted. I would not recommend this facility to anybody whose loved one needs care, especially memory care.

Fond memories

The owner was very nice and helpful. I was in an extremely stressful situation. He was very kind and patient, helped me immensely. The live in caregivers were very kind and helpful. The house is lovely with a beautiful backyard where my Grandfather enjoyed spending his afternoons. I look back at the time I spent visiting my Grandfather at Tenenbaum Villa with fondness.

3-28-17 by [Removed]. My mother passed away 3/15/17. She loved her new home for the last 16 moths. She love the food caretakers and the home. We had tried 3 different institutions. All bad. The owners are pro-active. Finding Tennenbaum Villa was a piece of divine intervention. She is at peace and will be missed.

The Best Place for Mom

If you are looking for a home to provide loving care for your loved one, Tenenbaum Villas is the place. My mom has been living there since Thanksgiving. She is happy in her new home and loves her new friends and caregivers. The caregivers are tentative and compassionate. The Tenenbaum's are always available. They took our call on Thanksgiving day and went above and beyond to welcome mom the next day. We know she's safe in their care, and she's happy.
