At The Auberge at The Woodlands - A Memory Care Community, we offer a variety of community features. Cats and dogs are allowed in private quarters. Our property is conveniently located near accessible public transportation. We offer free wi-fi. All meals are provided to residents. We love to accommodate visiting guests, meals included. Dining includes restaurant-style dining and specialized dining programs available to residents upon request. We offer meal services such as vegetarian food and low/no sodium options. We love to host holiday parties, birthday parties, BBQ's, picnics, and outdoor parties and resident karaoke nights. Our community activities cycle includes regular trivia nights, regular educational lectures covering a wide range of academic topics, frequent wine-tasting nights with a wide-spectrum of vintages and flavor palettes to sample and then compare notes on with friends and fellow residents. Outdoor common areas are designed with accessibility, flow, and movement for residents in mind. Our community grounds include an enclosed-courtyard to enhance recreation hours, raised gardening beds available to residents during their leisure hours, and walking paths accessible to seniors with a variety of physical capabilities. Indoor common areas are quiet and a nice place to enjoy the company of fellow residents or just relax. Residents have access to our communal spaces including a TV lounge, perfect for catching the latest episode of your favorite show or enjoying sports programming with other residents, a billiards lounge for residents who want to try their hand at cue sports, a jacuzzi available to residents, and a bistro. Our community has wheelchair accessible units, studio units, and companion units to those residents who would like or need a roommate. Ground floor units are available. We have free wi-fi for all of our residents. To accommodate our residents our community has air conditioning and temperatures regulated to optimize the comfort of our residents and we are fully integrated with WanderGuard capability. Resident quarters featuring roll-in and wheelchair accessible showers are available. All residents have complimentary access to our transportation services. With a beautician onsite, residents can receive beauty treatments for all occasions. We offer devotional services onsite, so residents can practice or worship in the privacy of our community. Pet care is available for residents' beloved pets. Our residents may schedule medication and care activities reminders. All services are delivered by licensed practitioners on staff 24/7. 24-hour awake staff at hand to assist your loved one to fulfill time-sensitive needs, should they arise. Speech therapist services are provided by trained and certified speech-pathologists. A visiting nurse is available to all residents. We always have a doctor on call to handle adjustments in medication, continued consultation, and urgent medical needs when they arise. Our community offers respite care, a short-term stay at a senior living community, perfect for those who are recovering from a hospital visit, or when a caregiver takes an extended vacation, or for a senior living trial period. Restless residents may wander to cope with the anxiety caused by Alzheimer's disease and dementia, our facility features a locked and secured neighborhood to ensure the safety of all. Our staff is specially trained in de-escalating exit-seeking behaviors. Our community has services such as medication or injection administration by trained nurses (always in compliance with physician orders), ADL assistance, and insulin injections. Our community is licensed for 48 residents. The building was built in 1995, and last renovated in 2010. We do not have age restrictions and help residents of all ages. Local fireman, policeman, and EMT services are nearby and ready to respond. The neighborhood is nearby local churches, shopping centers, and beautiful parks.
