The staff genuinely cares about their residents. They were always patient and kind despite the challenges of working with memory care residents. They seemed well trained on how to deal with memory care issues. The food was OK. Because it was a memory care facility, all the activities were oriented toward people with dementia, which meant my mom, who had Alzheimer's, could participate in everything even with her cognitive and physical impairments. Gardens at Laguna Springs

My observation is that they are very good at memory care because that is all they do. Many of my mom's visitors have commented to me on how surprised they were at what a nice facility it is. It is hard to imagine a better place for my mom. I have never seen a staff member treats any of the residence with other than kindness and respect.

Memory Care Only

Excellent facility for the memory impaired. Nurse on site 24/7. Proactive to find solutions for special needs that my dad requires due to UTI issues. Very clean and all the residents there are well cared for.

Pros and cons, things to know

The staff was phenomenal, but for some reason or other, there would be a big turnover brought on by the administrators in San Francisco. Extremely disappointed on that level everything was fine except for the activities committee. The activities were a little lacking in the sense of not very interesting and The music was deficient.
