Whether I would recommend this community really depends on the personality and preferences of the individual. Someone who is outgoing, social, and enjoys participating in activities would likely do very well here. That said, there are also many quieter and less social residents who seem perfectly happy and comfortable in the community. I moved into to The Gardens the end of September. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Moving in or out anywhere is a very trying situation so i am very grateful for the friendliness of the community. Moving is a big adjustment but with all the activities you get to meet a little of people who are willing to help if needed. I believe my decision to move to The Gardens was the best one at the time for me.

I give the health in the food quality is poor. Other than that it is good. I loved it until I found out the food was making us sicker. I would rate it a 4 star or less until I can get the food nutrition quality improved. I am working on that. So a 3 or 4 because the food is not the quality it was advertised to be and it wasn't straight forward . I pray for changes soon.

I like that the independent living condos are separate and since there are relatively few (20ish) the residents can feel that they are part of a smaller community. I would recommend the condos at The Gardens for someone who is independent and looking for a smaller, intimate community and not an apartment building lifestyle
