Excellent location

Generally good. Attentive staff. Decent food. Excellent location. Relatively small: 100 residents. Thus somewhat limited activities. Expensive. 7% rent increase set for later this year.

Clean, nicely decorated and staff very nice. Facilities are excellent and inviting. Nice location. Food looks very good, too.

Not the right fit

We have since relocated my dad. We found the system generally unorganized - no one would show up to host activities, one server at meal times, meetings with management never led to changes that were promised, etc. It all became very frustrating for my dad so we opted to find a better fit. The facility is very clean, almost brand new. There are a variety of room sizes available.

It is a very nice facility. It just opened last year. There was a little construction happening on the first floor. Something to do with a private family dining room, if family comes to visit. Beautiful views of the bay. Nice outdoor areas.

We were met at the entrance by one of the marketing directors. She took us on a complete tour of the facility which is absolutely wonderful. Modern decor, very well laid out for both function and attractiveness. We were under a lot of pressure due to an unexpected early discharge from the SNF where she was being provided rehabilitation.. when we made the decision to place her at Ivy, the staff guided us through every part of the process.
