A Most Welcoming Place To Call Home!

The dining staff has been the best. They remember everyone's little preferences, names, and always have my husband's Diet Coke ready even before ordering! Always friendly and wanting to please. The food is great! The housekeeping staff is equally great! I am not used to this luxury and it sure makes my life easier as I can spend my energy and time focusing on my husband's care since he has severe dementia. The sales staff went above and beyond and gave me a virtual tour while I was in Finland and I could tell thi

Not For Assisted Living

You do not want to put your loved one here for Assisted Living. This facility is definitely just for Independent living. The expectation is you will be up, dressed and ready to go to the dining restaurant by 0800 for breakfast or you are not a good fit for this facility. I was told this by[Name Removed] after the first night stay for our loved one. Before admitting our loved one. I asked for the highest level of care to be given and paid for it, with Assisted Living, which Brenda then down-graded to a level 3 after

Our experience

We like the facilities and the staff as well as the food. They just raise the rent [date removed] which made them a 4 not a 5.

Our experience

Bonaventure has a few major problems. The majority of them stem from the fact that their staff is on a revolving door. Everyone is always new and still training, so care tends to be hit or miss. Staff rarely wear name tags, and they don't bother to introduce themselves, so you never really know who you're talking to. The food quality isn't very good, and the portions are usually very small. The tables and arms of the chairs in the dining room frequently have dried food stuck to them. After a recent snowfall, they

The right fit.

Bonaventure was the right fit, location and the level of care required for our family member. Food is ok, but could use a boost in flavor, generally pretty bland. Facilities are maintained well. Management seems to be turmoil, several changes since we've been there.
