The Lakes Senior Living

We are very satisfied with The Lakes. My only minor concern was the Director's availability prior to move in. She was often unavailable, and missed one appointment without prior notice. Our dad has made new friends and is doing much better since moving in. The food isn't what he's used to and some options are not the best so he has lost some weight, but overall is thriving since moving in.

Room for improvement

The staff have not been responsive to my requests and concerns to the point where I had to reach out to your staff to help me. I have sent multiple emails with no response. Also, I am not confident my dad is getting his medications when he is supposed to.

Friendly Staff

The food was hyped up as restaurant quality when we checked out the place, but it is pretty bland. Short-staffed. It takes forever for maintenance. Yesterday, it took almost two hours to get some toilet paper. I decided to go out to the supermarket to get the toilet paper myself. When I got back, the resident just got the toilet paper. There should be rolls put in the bathroom when the room is cleaned. I spoke to one of the Directors about staff entering the resident's room. The maintenance guy didn't even knock …
