Rooms were better sized at this building, but the distance to walk to anything was TOO much for my father. We will keep looking. Staff was great and the buildings were lovely however.

Review for The Montera

My mother was a resident there for several months before her passing. I can't say enough about the beautiful care she received. There are some truly wonderful people working there. The facility is quite inviting. It has multiple buildings, outdoor space, a theater, a puzzle room, a Koi Pond, and more. There are plenty of daily activities to keep everybody busy. The food was good. There was a wide variety to choose from. I would give the Montera a higher rating, but there were several issues with medication mixups

We also sincerely appreciate your honest feedback and are sorry for the added stress you experienced. Your concerns were important to us, and we’re committed to learning from them as we continue to improve. Thank you again for your trust, your kind words, and your recommendation.

Review for The Montera

We were impressed with Montera as a place for [name removed] to be placed. Unfortunately, [name removed] condition changed before we could move in and the family felt that it was best for her to come to our home under hospice. The Montera was very understanding of our needs and assisted us in every way they could in helping us make the change to home care. Wish it would have worked out to place her in the Montera because it was apparent that they have an outstanding facility. I would recommend them.

Response from the community

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry circumstances changed, but we’re glad our team could support you and your family during such an important decision. We truly appreciate your kind words about our community and your recommendation.

Caring Facility

My mom is in memory care and all of the staff call her by name all of the time. They're very kind and good with her. They have activities that keep them busy during the day. I have eaten with my mom many times and the food is generally good, but low on seasoning.

Response from the community

Thank you so much for your kind words and for entrusting us with your mother's care. We are so happy to hear it has been such a positive experience for her and your family.
