PositiveMy mom doesn’t need much help and she seems content. The food is not as good as where she lived in Dallas and could be better, but it is not bad. The activities are what you would expect, but there are people that live there tat are more competent than paying bingo and ballon volleyball and I think they could set up more challenging clubs lie bridge, cards, mah-jongg, etc. Also, the change in facilities. Staff has been a little rough, and our doctors had a hard time getting prescriptions there quickly, and making s…

CriticalPositive is that they worked to get my mom in very quickly and got a settle settled immediately. Negative is that they are not performing the services that we are paying for on a regular basis like laundry and baths and also the administrative business director I have to call and follow up with her for insurance paperwork to be filed. If I don't call nothing happens and I've even tested it on my own and she never sent the paperwork until I called like three weeks later.
★★★★★
PositiveIt's mostly for independent living at least in my moms section. There's not a lot of extra care. Location is great.
★★★★★
PositiveThe administrative staff was informative, knowledgeable and kind. The staff in the Valeo Unit were helpful, compassionate, welcoming and took us all in as family. Everyone made sure my husband was taken care of and treated with respect. They showed the same concern and kindness to our entire family. The facility itself is lovely and homey.
★★★★★
CriticalStaff are sweet, but are hard to find. Very slow to respond to calls from the pendant. Often ignore the resident trying to talk to them. Staff had to be reminded and care level increased to ensure he got meals each day. Cleanliness is the worst. He fell and hit his head. Blood everywhere. 8 hours later he was discharged from the hospital and the blood was still all over. Cameras showed housekeeping come in, look at it and never touch it. Light bulbs burnt out constantly, swapped the broken microwave for another bro…

PositiveIt's a very nice facility. It's very large and there is maybe not as much personalized attention but overall we like it a lot. Her apartment is very spacious and nice. I love the location. It's very close to where I live.
