PositiveThe staff and care were exceptional when we first became part of this community. Unfortunately, the experience has declined over time, and I believe much of that is due to changes made by Cogir. Several wonderful staff members have left, including servers who played an important role in making the experience feel special. The food, which was once exceptional, is now below average. The decline in quality is noticeable, and the overall atmosphere has changed. You can see it in the faces of the employees - people who…

PositiveThe staff is really great, the food is really good, her room is pretty small but still nice and big enough, she has a one bedroom. It's very clean also.

PositiveThe staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and communicative. They call me whenever my mom needs anything, anytime there is a health concern, even if it is resolved (a fall with no injuries, minor behavioral problem, etc.). They offer activities that my mom enjoys, and, though it took quite a while, my mom has made friends, which makes me very happy!
Response from the communityThank you for your positive review!

CriticalThe place is very nice and the staff worked hard to accommodate us last minute but it was not appropriate for my mom. She was too high functioning for the placement. She did very well on the test and it turns out she does not have dementia, just anxiety and depression. The problem was that we paid thousands of $ with no money back when she only stayed 2 days. The previous assisted living situation only charged us pro rated.
Response from the communityThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience you had during your mom's first couple of days. Our priority is to provide high-quality care for all of our residents. We will take your comments into consideration to improve our services.

CriticalIt has been good. Very nice people. Unfortunately Mom needs more care than we initially thought so right now it's out of our price range but hopefully she'll improve and the additional costs will come down.
