Staff was caring, helpful, and dedicated. Sometimes it felt like they were short staffed on the weekends but everyone worked really hard. Their community relations director is amazing. Facility is clean, food is good, apartment size is adequate for both assisted living and Memory care.

Activities were appropriate for individual needs of the resident. There was enough attendances to monitor activities so that individual needs were addressed in a kind and consistent manner. On several occasions I saw a caretaker and she remembered who I was, because of my frequent visits to the Reserve at Citrus.

The assisted living part was relatively nice. I lived out of state so I wasn't there that much. I had difficulty at times communicating with Mom. She couldn't hear well unless she used her phone "blue-toothed" to her hearing aids. As her dementia worsened, she had more difficulty communicating and I wish the staff had made more of an effort to help her use her phone and hearing aids. Things were pretty confusing at first. Overall the experience has been good. The staff that I have interacted with have been very nice and helpful. My mom is participating in activities a lot more than I ever thought. Which is very good. She likes the girls that assists her when she showers, who washes her clothes and cleans her room. We have had a good experience so far with the Reserve at Citrus. They seem to care and are very trying to keep Mom safe. They needed to transfer her to memory care during a time when she is having cognitive issues. We are hoping she can transition back out when she is feeling better. They have a lot of activities for the residents, have good food and genuinely care about them.
