About The Reserve at Katy

The Reserve at Katy offers a special combination of daily living, personalized supportive services, and interactive activities. We focus on wellness and keeping our residents as independent as long as possible with a tailored plan of assistance to meet their needs. Our residents call The Reserve their home, and we love to nurture them through our holistic approach of caring for all resident needs - physical, emotional, social, and intellectual. The communities have many covered porches with outside walking paths and enclosed courtyards for the residents to enjoy. Located in the Katy area, our location is conveniently near hospitals, doctors’ offices, shopping, parks, and theaters. The Reserve also has five other properties to service families’ needs including the Medical Center, Sugar Land, Pearland, Pasadena, and Westchase area.

Staff- wonderful people taking great care and anxious to understand and meet needs, but some don't speak English well enough for mom to understand. Also information/requests sometimes not moving from one person to another well. Activities - can't rate them, mom doesn't participate. Food - hard to rate because she was taking meals in her room and they were mostly late and cold. Room - rather bleak and dark. Overall Happy.

My husband seems to be doing as well as possible. Most staff seem kind and gentle with him. Overall I am fine with his placement. The food is fine (I am often there at mealtimes) and he is clean, out in the living area.

Overall, we are very happy with the reserve at Katy. The staff is friendly, and treat my mother like part of the family. For our individual situation it puts a financial stress on us, but that would be the same at any facility. Overall, every time I visit my mother I'm grateful for the reserve and their staff!

Wonderful Experience

The Reserve is such a warm, welcoming community. [name removed] worked with us to make the transition go well for my father. The entire staff was friendly and respectful of our time with our loved one. The new local owners are working to update all aspects of the facility. I promise - You will not be disappointed with the care that your loved one will receive at The Reserve!!!
