Amazing staff

I visited many places to put my dad after my mother passed away and a friend recommended this place. I first did a tour and fell in love with [Name Removed] then brought my dad hoping he was going to agree to move in. It did not take much convincing. He walked in sad and left with a smile. I am not sure what took place in the meeting with the nurse, but he was ready to move in and did. He tells me all the time that he is happy and the staff treats him kindly. That’s all I wished for. He has been there for 3-4 month…

My review of The Residences at Miami

They have a good amount of activities there, there is always something going on. We were looking around a lot and we did not find anything bad at this place. This place has everything, they take care of a lot and take care of the residents with all of their needs. This is the correct place, the residents can go out on the patio and hang out but it is little.

Love this place

I looked into several places before deciding on The Residences and I am so glad I chose this place. The nurses and the assistants are amazing. I am informed on every aspect of my mothers care which gives me piece of mind! The facility is beautiful, clean and bright. The food is pretty good and the kitchen staff are wonderful. I highly recommend this place! For those who have nothing nice to say about this place should go check out other places. Good luck.

Security and Elevator Issues

This facility has very laxed security and residents are able to leave by themselves or with someone and no one will notice. Elevators do not function properly and if you get stuck they do not call Fire Rescue, but wait until the maintenance staff comes onsite. Senior residents with dementia must sit in the elevator without help.

The Residences

My mother moved into the Residences about 3 weeks ago and is gradually adapting to her new home. It is spotless, always smells good, bright and airy, the employees are kind , helpful and on top of everything she needs. There are outings 3 times a week and activities daily. She enjoys arts and crafts, daily exercise and happy hours with singing and sometimes even dancing.

Immaculate, new facility. Pleasant staff. Residents look well cared for. Would not hesitate to recommend this ALF based on my visit. Thank you to[Removed] for a comprehensive tour of the facility. Especially good fit for Spanish-speaking/bilingual seniors in need of assisted living.
