There is so much to be said. First off the food is nothing but Cisco and is full of high sodium and really poor quality food. Even though one of the selling points is, they have a chef. Not true. They have someone that opens up cans. We asked for low sodium diet and they assured us that would be no problem and almost immediately my mom started retaining water and when we asked about it, they said oh we're doing it and we had found out from their team that nobody gets any specialized dinners or meals. CriticalThere are so many issues with The Ridge. Food is all pre-packaged, high sodium & plain awful. My mom never had swelling issues but while there her legs swelled terribly. We asked for a low salt diet and they said they could accommodate & told us they did but she got the same as everyone else. Since we left mom has been in 3 places (hospital. Rehab, hospital) and there was zero swelling. Safety Issues: in 3 months they had 14 incidents of patients getting out. It is poorly managed. Understaffed severely. Activi…

Moved my Dad to The Ridge after his hospital stay. [name removed] was amazing in facilitating everything. Overall, the staff was wonderful. Grounds are beautiful and they have great amenities. Only issue we had was the front desk person, [name removed], that only worked the weekends. The nursing staff was excellent. Very caring and responsive to any request. Dad was on hospice and they made sure he was clean and cared for while we were in the transition period.
