This place is horrible. My mom was in memory care there and took a fall. Three staff members on the floor and not one person was watching them. She passed away 20 days later. No one bothered to make sure she ate or even brushed her teeth. Her clothes were given to other residents while she wore things that didn't come close to fitting her and were trashy. If you speak up, they will treat your loved one much worse. I could go on for days but I wouldn't take a dead dog to this place. Do your research and do it well.

Mom's needs were not met

My mother needed extra care which we paid for. However, unless you are in Assisted Living and only need meds, your needs are not met. Mom had her meals in her room, and that were delivered with kindness. Her medications were given to her on time. But, she had special toileting needs that were not met. As her memory declined she was moved to memory care. She went t down hill quickly and couldn't take care of herself. Despite schedule changes, she would still be found on her floor or in filth at the toilet because th

Mom loves it!

We chose The Village at Skyline Pines because they had immediate vacancy while we were looking. The staff have been wonderful to work with and are super caring about their residents. My loved one was hesitant to move at all in the first place and now she loves it here. I would definitely recommend Village at Skyline Pines to other families looking.

To quote nurse at facility " We do not have enough staff to take care of people" Mother suffered repeated unexplained bruises, No staff answered her pendant " call button" when needed- family witnessed hostility from aides towards her when she needed cleaned up to incontinence issues. Some great people there but unfortunately the bad staff out weighs the good staff.

Just Like Home With Extended Family for My Family Member

The Village is amazing! They have gone above and beyond to accommodate my loved one prior to their passing. My loved one had to go to the hospital and they had one of the staff member go with my loved one to ensure they were safe. The community worked well with outside home health. The staff always check on my loved one during my loved one's stay. They made sure that my loved one was eating. The maintenance team was quick to respond to requests as well.

Response from the community

Thank you Sandy. When a resident moves into our facility, our honest hopes are that if/when they leave our facility the feeling from the loved ones is similar to how you stated in the review. There are a LOT of moving pieces in an operation like ours, but every single one of them is in place to better the lives of the residents. We take pride in the fact that the efforts are being noticed. Comments from families of a resident who called us their last home are so very special. We can't thank you enough.
