We gave it 3 months. They are so understaffed someone needs to report them. The heater didn't work and it was during the 19* weather. My Mother was freezing for days..they replaced unit with another faulty one. The food was terrible. We were paying $[removed] a month The few people they have taking care of the residents all were wonderful, they are overwhelmed having to care for over 80 people between 2 people at night and maybe 3 on the day shift. Since Frontier Management took over the property for the owners the cost of living here has sky rocketed. I feel like only my money matters to them. No familiar staff faces because there is so much turnover and agency staffing. The young people working here only care about getting a paycheck and have no interest in me what so ever. I grew up in Fredericksburg and do not understand why the owners of the building would want Frontier Management hiring a nurse who is a bully and rude. I feel sorry for the residents who…

We thought that the staff and the residents were so welcoming and lovely and the place is always really clean. The CEO even helped us move in and get the television set up! The entire environment is super inclusive. It really felt like a community!

The Villages of Windcrest is very good at activities for the residents. Their food is good. They lack a little in nursing care-especially on the weekends. The staff communication with the family is fair. There are three meals a day and the residents have some choices.
