PositiveThe memory care team, lead by [Name Removed], at the Almaden Watermark are amazing. [Nsme removed] and her staff were compassionate and engaged with my mom and all of the residents, as well as with family members. They worked with me every step of the way to help me with my mom and her needs. I’m forever grateful to[Name removed] and her team.

PositiveThe Watermark at Almaden has been a great facility for my dad. He’s been there about a year and a half and really likes it. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food is consistently good, as I have joined him for lunches and dinners many times. His biggest complaint is the sometimes long wait times for an aide to return to the dining room to escort him back to his room once he has finished his meal. This short staffing issue may not be unique to WM, however.

PositiveThe staff during the tours and leading up to admission was helping and knowledgeable and the on boarding was rather smooth. Unfortunately, the move in process definitely needs to be looked at closely. We were surprised that the facility did not supply a durable and suitable moving equipment such as a large cart to assist with moving in the large furniture. All they had was a broken luggage cart. After getting into the facility, it took a lot more time (definitely more that I expected) to get acclimated to the faci…

PositiveIt is a very nice facility with friendly residents and staff and good food. Absolutely stuffed with activities to do. They allow cats and small dogs which was a big factor in our choice for respite care.
