CriticalWith the care services, once mom started to decline quickly we didn't get as much help as I hoped for. If mom would have stayed independent I think it would have been a great place for them. They had lots of activities and other residents were fun for them to be around. Mom went downhill so fast and that couldn't take care of her because they were full and it was too hard for them being in independent care. When dad moved out they told him he should be able to get his money back in the fall. It is not our fault the…

CriticalIt started out good but mom was only there for about a month. She started to decline after a week or two with dementia and after a month we ended up moving her to a different memory care because there was no opening there. We had to pay a ton of money for a down payment and we still haven’t gotten that money back. We moved my dad home after mom went to the memory care unit. He wasn't even there 3 months. Most of down payment is supposed to be returned to us but in June it will have been a year that they have kept m…

PositiveOur experience with Thorne Crest was very short. We set up my parents in independent living and shortly after we moved them in one parent started showing major signs of needing to be put in a memory care unit. Thorne Crest has a small memory care unit with a big waiting list. We needed to look for another open location in a memory care unit.

PositiveThis is a very good comforting place for a family member to be. The staff are very caring and helpful with my loved one. They provide good quality care.
★★★★★
PositiveVery nice facility. We appreciated being able to go in to tour even with the Covid restrictions.
