About Three Rivers Place
At Three Rivers Place, our senior living community, we provide a homelike atmosphere, a caring staff, and personalized care. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. We have recently installed a 'wander guard' keeping all exits locked, which allows us to keep a closer watch on the residents with dementia diagnosis. Our residents engage in a variety of stimulating activities, such as arts and crafts, bible study, bingo, exercise classes, tai chi, live entertainment, walking, reading, and parties. Unfortunately, [Name Removed] and my sister did not have a good experience. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very attentive and he didn't feel like he was taken care of. He felt like it was a really bad experience and he asked to be moved to a different facility just before he passed.

Positiveour families experience
They were great about communicating and keeping us up to-date on Grandma's well being. She was well taken care of. She didn't participate in activities or going to the dinning hall. They were kind and understanding when Grandma passed. However they did not make it clear that once a resident passes away that they charge you for two weeks regardless of quick you clean out the room.

I think they've been upfront with things and kept me posted with what's going on. They're very friendly. It's hard to know what exactly is going on without being able to go inside to see your loved one. But they've been good at communicating with me. They seem to be on top of her care. They noticed something out of the ordinary with her health and got her to the hospital in a timely manner.

CriticalMy review of Three Rivers place
While our loved one has been there, there has been a lot of turnover rates with the staff. A few new executive directors and a few different directors of nursing. With all the staffing changes it has made communication really difficult so that could use improvement. The place is beautiful, but there have been no activities, the food could use improvements we were disappointed with that, and the care services could use improvements.

It was the personal touch that I was most impressed with. When we moved my aunt in they had a cart available. The management was clear and honest about what the facility could and could not do. We needed to bring my aunt [name removed] there prior to us having everything for her room and they had a furnished room we could use for a few days.
