Thrive on Skidaway is a dynamic elder living community coming to Savannah, GA in early 2020. We believe that if a community's focus is strictly on great care, they don't care enough. At Thrive on Skidaway great care is just a by-product of bigger and better things.Thrive team members come to work each day to build lasting friendships with our elders, meaning they never see our residents are objects in need of care but as individuals they love and want to care for.

CriticalMake more than one trip. Take time away from staff and see about getting feedback from residents. Speak your mind when dealing with staff and stand firm when you are right. Staff tends to talk around issues instead of dealing with them. You can't file a complaint without giving your name. That is another way of not having to deal with issues.

PositiveThe staff at Thrive on Skidaway are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I like that they are able to manage medication and that they make an effort to have relationships with all of the residents. I do think that the head of nursing needs additional staff. They also have a visiting physician that we are hoping to switch to, but it has been difficult to set up. I would definitely recommend Thrive on Skidaway to others.

PositiveThis facility has been excellent, it's a great place to live. It's a very upscale, clean, well taken care of place. Everything is always clean and it always smells nice. The staff are friendly. Housekeeping is once a week and they do a good job. Meals and dining are great, that's a big one! They have their own Chef and the food is outstanding!
