They are now Tucson Gardens Memory Care. They have gone down hill considerably. Severely understaffed and having difficulty getting new staff.

CriticalI have never been notified of the name change of the facility. Clerical staff and line staff can't answer my questions. I constantly have to get them to clean Mom's room. Mom seems to like most of the food. Their activities director really tries.
Response from the communityWe appreciate feedback and apologize if our name change was missing in your inbox. We will discuss the issue of cleaning your mom’s room with the operations staff to make sure that they have the correct schedule. Thank you for recognizing our outstanding activities director.

PositiveThe campus has inviting, secure indoor and outdoor space for memory care residents to occupy. Meals are appealing and provide good nutrition. Daily resident activities are well done and include games, art, music, and bird feeding. The staff is competent, caring, and strives to provide outstanding 24/7 individualized care. The nurses set the gold standard for excellence and humanity in caring for Alzheimer's patients and their families.

PositiveThe staff was very helpful and communicative. We had a very short time to chose a place and they made the choice easy. The staff has also gone above and beyond - when my father-in-law needed to be picked up from the VA Hospital, the nurse went and got him.
Response from the communityWe’re so happy to hear you’ve had a great experience at Pacifica Senior Living Tucson. We appreciate your feedback and are thankful that you took the time to leave us this positive review!

PositiveI picked it because it's so clean and pleasant. My loved one has a lovely room and the staff are very nice and friendly. But he doesn't get much attention. [name removed] is in a dementia unit. Every resident has dementia. He is going downhill because he has no stimulation.I would recommend the facility for someone with advanced dementia. The care is good. But it's difficult if you are still somewhat with it.
Response from the communityThank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you have enjoyed your experience at Pacifica Senior Living Tucson.
