There was High staff turnover, mediocre food, slow response times on the call button. The room size was good. There were some activities going on. Valencia is substandard.

It's getting better under the new management. I just know that overall, my mother is doing better than she was under her previous facility. Her friend has said that Valencia is more involved. There hasn't been such a high level of turnaround in the staff. I take that as a good sign.

The facility is located in a wooded park-like setting with a nice creek running beside it. Also, it is in the middle of a major shopping and restaurant zone as well. My parents seem to really like it there.

The direct care staff are very caring. The value is better than other places for what you receive. I do feel that they are working on maintenance. It's just a slow process. administration staff could improve with communicating with the family regarding changes. I will say that overall the takeover from Truwood to Vallencia has been a significant improvement without a big increase in cost. Would I recommend this place for other families? absolutely.

The facility has been acquired by another company since my mother was there. I believe a lot of the staff I dealt with are still there. The staff were kind and so cute with the memory care residents and very accommodating. The food was amazing since it was prepared by a former Park City and Salt Lake restaurants professional chef. He enjoyed preparing nutritious and fabulous meals for the residents. I was there most days around some meal time and couldn't believe how good the food and snacks were. I can't remember …
