About Viewpointe Viewpointe is an active adult community located within the pristine natural beauty of Asheville, North Carolina. Built in the late 1990s, this 55+ neighborhood includes 44 low-maintenance, attached homes and features a clubhouse that residents can use for neighborhood gatherings and private events. Viewpointe Homes & Real Estate Viewpointe consists of 44 attached homes built between approximately 1997 and 1999. Most homes have about 2,000 to 2,500 square feet of living space with two to three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Walmart, Whole Foods Market, Lowe’s, along with numerous other retail stores, restaurants, and the Asheville Mall are all about two-and-a-half miles away along I-240. The historic city center of Asheville is about a ten-minute drive from Viewpointe. The city is well-known for its preserved art deco architecture, abundant parks and natural spaces, and excellent restaurants along with a vibrant arts scene that includes everything from busking street musicians to the Asheville Lyric Opera. For long-distance travel, the Asheville Regional Airport is about 13 miles away, while nearby I-40 makes it easy to get to Knoxville to the west and Charlotte to the east.
