Think twice before you bring your loved one to this company. Staff does not assist residents in any needs. In the 6 months that I've lived here I have caught staff on phones on computers and sleeping

CriticalNever judge a book by it's cover
I found this place for my father through, A Place For Moms, and it was all rainbows and sunshine, and all seemed like the perfect place. When we moved my dad in, it turned out to be the complete opposite! There are zero activities that get done. The only interaction residents get with staff is when it's meal time, medication time, or bedtime. My father is an amputee and he has fallen and he had to figure out how to get up on his own because staff would not attend to his buzzer button. I do know this place is under …

Positiveunderestimation of my mothers needs
Girlie Manor is going good so far. I like the scale and size of the facility. In the beginning there was an underestimation of my mothers needs. There was a little less attention to knowing what it would take for mom. I got complaints to me from the owner. They said the staff was spending too much time with her. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the mangers and the staff. Some things they should have known right off the back were not known. But that has been cleared up now.
