It's a vibrant, caring community that came highly recommended to us from home Healthcare professionals. It fits our mom's care needs, and encourages her to challenge herself to get stronger and participate in activities.

PositiveThe community was newer and staff was eager to help. We did virtual tours and [name removed] liked the layout of [removed] apartment better. It was more convenient to where both my daughter in law and I live. Kind of in the middle. After we made the decision, an acquaintance of mine told me his mother was in Avemere, and since Covid things really changed there and he wasn't very happy.

My Aunt lost her 2 ct diamond ring somewhere in Avamere. This was her wedding ring of her late Husband of 65 years. Nobody at Avamere really cares. I’m pretty sure it has been found and we will never see it again.

We(my wife and I) have lunch in the dining room to be able to socialize with our neighbors. Then we prepare our own evening meal. We really enjoy the musical programs. Suggestion: maybe a musical group could be formed with the residents.
