About Willow Grove

In our ideology of care we are focused on combating the three plagues of the long term care industry: boredom, loneliness and lack of purpose. We are focused not to just combat these three plagues but to overcome them. In order to do so we must be proactive in our approach and in our care. Our philosophy is based on doing unto others as we would have them do unto us; we call this Care and Concern. Care and Concern allows us to empathize with the Residents, understanding where they are at, where they have come from and where they want to go. By focusing on their goals and their desires we can then encourage and empower the Resident to reach those goals. Our staff provides relationship with the Residents and the many community activities that we encourage gives them opportunities to be engaged with others. Additionally the Residents make cards, crafts and gifts for those that come to visit or are in need which brings a sense of purpose to anyone’s life. It is all about giving and giving with a passion.
