CriticalWe placed our brother with Alzheimer's here. After 2 days at Windermere, his arms were covered with bruises. We were given 4 versions of what happened to him. None of them were plausible. We had marked his diapers and found out that he had not been changed in the first 24 hours he was there. He was not monitored at all and ended up in the hospital severely dehydrated to the point it caused muscle damage.

CriticalMy Mom was there two very long years. Through that time I found things that are truly unimaginable. Poop on her shoes, Poop everywhere and left for days. There were times when I took picture sent them to the administrator and I go back and it’s still l there! They would take her mattress cover off, wash it and never put it back on so my Mom could soil the mattress and then be forced to sleep on it. They never put a top sheet on- even though I purchase 5 separate sheet sets and comforters. I would walk in some days …

CriticalThey were horrible. They left her in wet clothes, left her bed wet many days. Let her soiled laundry pile up. And what frustrated me most is that when I complained about it the DON blamed her and refused to accept any responsibility for failing to meet her needs.
