Director [name removed]y with no reason, and hired a fired nurse/manager from another facility with no experience to be a director [name removed] (never got her card) made absolutely no sense. He was a wonderful, interactive, and caring director with staff, residents, and families. [name removed]was hired immediately in a new facility in Georgetown that our loved one cannot afford. My mom was only there for a week and a half before she ended up in the hospital and is now in a nursing home for physical therapy. The food was really good - I got to eat a meal with her there once and the sides were very nice. On the flip side, it sometimes took a long time to answer her call button and sometimes no one came at all.

Windrush has gone downhill quickly over the past two months. I am regularly in the building and absolutely shocked. First of all, the building smells awful- constant stench of urine. It is obviously not cleaned properly. Every time I come in, there are residents parked in front of a TV. Doesn’t matter if it’s 9am or 2pm.
