PositiveI would definitely recommend Windsong to persons who need this type of care. It’s a wonderful and caring place.
★★★★★
PositiveIt is a wonderful place. The staff seems really involved with the residents and their family. They love Peter and enjoy his involvement in activities. They asked for no tv in the room and it really helps him be involved, relaxed and even happy. The activities director loaned us her laptop for a video visit, set it up for us and stayed until we were successfully connected. I think they won an award for their food!
Response from the communityIt's wonderful to hear such positive feedback about our community! We deeply appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Our staff is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment, and we're so pleased that their involvement has made a difference for you and your family. We're especially glad that Peter is enjoying the activities and that the request for no TV in his room is helping him to relax and be involved. We believe that family connection is vital, and our activities director was happy to assist with the video visit to keep those bonds strong. And yes, you heard correctly—our culinary team did win an award for their food! Providing delicious and nutritious meals is something we take great pride in. Thank you again for your kind words. We're grateful to have Peter and your family as part of our community.

PositiveI really like Windsong although there has been a fair amount of staff turnover since we began mid October. People are caring, patient, and I like their philosophy of human kindness. Facilities are clean and well kept, outdoor spaces are manicured with great furniture and spaces. Food is good as far as I can tell. Now easy to get to with the new Smart Train Station although parking and visitation has never been a problem. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Your feedback highlights the importance of this effort. We're also glad to hear that access to our community, including the proximity of the new Smart Train Station, has been easy for you. CriticalIt felt like once we were in that there was way less help from the admin staff, such as setting up auto pay or getting invoices was very difficult. I guess that's not looking. They serve wine with meals. That was a problem for us that we didn't know.
★★★★★
CriticalThe staff members who work there are wonderful, but the management team is disorganized as well as the food. The staffing level doesn't meet my mom's needs. I actually moved her out [date removed].

CriticalMom was very restless and she needed a walker they couldn't figure out a way to keep her safe at night so she fell several times needing to go to the hospital at least twice. Fractured pelvis. Bumps and cuts. Many of staff were friendly and kind however management of her overall care and needs in Memory care was not adequate. She lasted only a few months there and we had to move her to a smaller facility more able to handle her specific needs. They did a much better job for significantly less cost. I spent days at …
