PositiveDifficult Times Made Easier.
Everyone had been extremely helpful, kind and patient. Transitioning a family member to an assisted living home is not easy, and there are a LOT of bumps in the road. But the Staff there made it as easy and smooth as possible. They provided us with a free moving company, and are willing to help when possible. The only thing I would complain about is the price for additional services such as handing the residents their medicine each day. I feel they charge a bit much for that service per day.

My mother in law is a Wynnfield Crossing resident. This experience has been wonderful for our family. The care team is just wonderful. The Resident Assistants treat her with the same care that our family would. They are very aware of physical and mental changes in the residents. They alerted us to changes in her behavior immediately when she became ill, allowing us to get medical care quickly. PositiveWonderful place to live if you can take care of your basic needs on your own.
They do not have any medical staff on board. I felt they took mom and should not have. They were not able to give her the care she needed. She was not able to take care of herself, toileting, showering, and such. The gal that was in charge at the time somehow broke her back, moving her. I do not blame them because in every other way, they were great. They just couldn't handle her level of care.

A great option for parent once unable to live at home alone. Beautiful, safe, clean and comfortable facility. Separate apartments for independence and privacy yet they are in one facility that offers a dining room, activity center, library, common sitting room areas , etc. Many activities offered for residents to enjoy and to socialize without having to leave the building.
