Place has a very nice environment. The room is spacious and has a good floor plan with ample kitchen amenities. There are a multitude of activities available, but unfortunately my Mom is unable to take advantage of any. The friendliness of the staff is mixed - some very warm, but others somewhat detached. The food is pretty standard institutional quality, but since Mom is eating like a bird it makes little difference. 10 Wilmington Place is the third place we tried for our father who suffers from dementia. When he lost his wife two years ago he could no longer live at home alone. We first tried around the clock care but realized he was too isolated. We then tried an assisted living facility in New Hampshire where he felt anxious and alone most of the time. The entire experience of having our mother at 10 Wilmington has been wonderful in every respect. The residents are all engaged, happy and are treated with such care and respect from every member of the staff. The facility is gorgeous and well-maintainted, the food is delicious and the overall feeling of the community is just so pleasant. I feel so blessed that there is such a place as 10 Wilmington!
