Located at the foot of Mission Peak on the southeast side of the San Francisco Bay, Aegis Living Fremont offers an intimate, easy-to-navigate setting and a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visiting family members. Here, compassionate caregivers assist with a range of care needs and provide residents with assisted living, memory care, and respite care services. Our team works to support, enrich, and care for our residents in a variety of ways — with assisted living, memory care, and respite care services all under one roof. Trained staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide assistance when needed. Memory care residents receive custom-designed care to provide comfort and assist with past memories through the Life’s Neighborhood programming. Residents receive personalized care, weekly housekeeping, laundry services, concierge services, and nutritious meals each day. With aromatherapy, a full-service salon, a shower spa, a central bistro, and show stages, the community’s luxurious amenities provide a greater level of relaxation and enjoyment for each resident. Additionally, the Life Enrichment program offers residents the chance to learn new skills, pursue passions, and stay engaged. Some popular activities include brain fitness classes, happy hours, courtyard walks, daily fitness classes, book club, movie nights, pet therapy, and more. Residents have a wide range of studio, one-bedroom, and companion suites living options to choose from. Each apartment is designed to bring comfort and function like home. Residents are encouraged to personalize and decorate their space with family photos and favorite furnishings to make it feel even more homelike. We are very pleased with our mother staying at Aegis. The facility is like a small hotel with a spacious single occupancy room. There are comfortable spaces for visitation. The staff are kind and helpful. Our mother's caregivers are patient with her incomitance. The meals are tasty to mildly bland. Despite the high price, we are glad we chose Aegis.

The staff, the food, the community are top notch. Aegis Fremont is the leaders in memory care. My parents are so happy living there and I have such piece of mind from the company's top down leadership. So many staff members and every single one of them does personalized service for my parents and for my family as well. It is just so warm and amazing there. It truly feels like home!

Critical5 stars for decorations. 2 stars for caring.
Initially Aegis looked perfect - the setup and decorations, and the staff running the place. But ultimately where care was needed, there was a charge for everything. There was too much salt in their food, and to accommodate a lower salt diet for my mom's high blood pressure, they were going to charge $500 more per month. She kept falling in her room, so then they required us to pay for a 12-hour shift of a caregiver at $35 / hour, on top of what we were already paying for her stay. There were other charges as well.…

Our loved one is happy with the meals and dining service so far. The activities are starting to come back, the weekends a little slower but during the week there is quite a lot of them to do. Starting from 9:30AM the residents have many opportunities to participate in things and be as busy as they want. Our loved one is happy and being well looked after, so the value for cost is priceless.
