Really great staff, nice large clean room, my dad has access to lots of activities, very good communication with staff (I have everyone's cell number), reasonably priced. My dad rates the food as just okay but I love that there is no set meal time, just 7am-7pm. Great feeling when you enter, like a house, warm, inviting.

I think overall the experience has been good. I would give it a four or five. It was hard for my mom to adjust in the beginning, but it seems like she's getting used to it. The rooms are larger than any of the other places we had gone to my parents like most of the food. They like the outings each week where they get to go to the park or someplace like that. We moved my [age removed] aged mom from FL to CA after a minor stroke. She started in independent living at a larger facility and was really lost. It was too far to walk to the dining room and space in activities were often filled. We tried memory care but sadly mostly patients were sitting around looking at a TV screen too often blank. A Place for Mom suggested checking out Aegis Laguna Niguel and moving there was very smooth. It’s a small friendly environment. Beautiful gardens are easily accessible to everyone. …
