★★★★★
PositiveFood quality and tastiness 3.5 out of 5. Disappointed that Alamar advertised prepared food 24 hours a day but it is only available in 2 hour time blocks with dinner 4:30 - 6:30pm and breakfast not served until 8am. Nursing staff is very difficult for residents to contact but do seem concerned. Poor communication between nursing staff from shift to shift. Short staffed for maintenance, and, again difficult to contact to take care of in room maintenance issues. Seems to be a lot of upper level staff turn-over going o…

PositiveI was very impressed when I first went to look at the facility. It was newer, so bright, clean. Everyone said hello even the residence. They have worked with us to make this a happy place for my mom

PositiveFood could be better tasting with more waiters but that's a lot of places. Staff has been great
★★★★★
PositiveTo be fair, my father's health rapidly declined right before he moved in. So we he was high-maintenance and rarely left the room. He didn't use any activities, but that wasn't the fault of the facility. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families
★★★★★
PositiveOnly thing I did not like was the use of Guardian pharmacy when we had pillpack. Once again about the pharmacy. We had all medications for Dad, but some were ordered through the Guardian Pharmacy which I didn't know about until I received a $[fee removed] bill.. not cool! Like some kind of scam was going on! We chose this facility because of the cleanliness and the staff were great.

PositiveMy mom, 98, had been living independently until she had a fall on her birthday and broke her arm. After the hospital and rehab we placed her at Alamar. The staff, from administration to staff have made her feel welcome and involved her in a slew of activities which has significantly improved her quality of life. The residents are friendly and welcoming as well. We are so happy with our decision on placement. It’s not cheap, but worth every dollar.
