The director is so understanding and patient with my mom's moods. My mom is normally pleasant, but with Alzheimer's she has some moments. Rather than kicking her out we're able to get her on medication and stabilize her. The communication between our family and staff members, especially the nurses, is fantastic.

roommate policy

Residents who are MCO are required to share rooms with other residents. This is not a best practice for dementia residents. My wife who recently had a resident put in her room as a roommate and she has definitely developed issues with attitude and other behavioral issues after the roommate was introduced. Sharing rooms is no way a good practice for residents with dementia.

[name removed], who showed us the facility, was wonderful and very knowledgable. The facility was nice. It was clean and offered a good variety of on-site services. I also like they have both assisted living and memory care to allow for a smooth transition when that time comes.
